Teaching guitar is our life's work
We're both 16, and we've been playing guitar since age 9. Fretboard Academy was built because we saw too many beginners quit — not because guitar is hard, but because the way it's taught usually is.
Every lesson here is designed around one question: what does someone actually need to know right now to sound better? Not what's traditionally taught first. What works. Based in Long Grove, Illinois, we've only taught a handful of students so far, but we're committed to helping as many people as possible learn guitar — and we bring a fresh, modern perspective to teaching that older instructors sometimes miss.
